Holiday Programmes

Options for the School Holidays

School holiday programmes provide fun, safe, and inclusive activities for disabled children and young people during school breaks. Programmes are available across Auckland and may include arts, sports, community outings, life skills, sensory activities, and social opportunities. Many programmes are designed for children with a range of disabilities and are supported by trained staff who understand individual needs. These programmes help children build confidence, develop friendships, and enjoy new experiences while giving families and carers additional support during the holidays
Funding may be available through disability support funding options such as Individualised Funding, depending on a family’s situation and eligibility. Some specialist schools and community organisations also provide after-school care alongside holiday programmes.
Holiday programme availability is subject to change.  You may also like to check out whether your local school or specialist school has a holiday programme on offer.
