General Information on Government agencies

New Zealand Government have supports in place for New Zealand Citizens and Residents.

The Disability system in New Zealand is complex and involves a disabled person and their family/whanau being able to navigate different agencies and departments to access support related to their well-being. We have included links to the most common Government Ministries or agencies that you may deal with here.

Youthlaw

YouthLaw provides free legal help to children and young people throughout Aotearoa New Zealand. Its work includes legal advice, legal information, education sessions, and law reform focused on young people’s rights and access to justice.
