Meals on Wheels

New Zealand Red Cross coordinates Meals on Wheels deliveries for people who are unable to prepare meals for themselves because of disability or ongoing health needs. Volunteers deliver weekday meals while also providing regular social contact and a wellbeing check. Access to the service is arranged through a GP or other health professional.
